The first category we’ve been nominated for is Best Technology Provider for the way we’ve supported lending and collections businesses to manage the significant surge of customers who had fallen into financial hardship during the pandemic.
We also quickly transformed our flagship product – Embark – into Paylink Collections, with features including Open Banking, digital triage, arrangement proposals and auto requests, which was then adopted by more than 20+ lenders, including high street and challenger banks, fintech lenders, building societies and third-party servicers.
The second category we’ve been shortlisted for is Best Use of Technology award for the digital affordability journey we delivered to Zopa, which includes integration to real-time data, such as bank transactions and credit file information, and improves the speed and accuracy of I&E completions.
Tabitha Sherwood, Product Manager from Zopa, said: “The cloud-based digital income and expenditure product delivered by Paylink Solutions helps our customers who are in financial difficulty and allows us to offer affordable solutions. The use of credit referencing (CRA) data and Open Banking means the journey can be completed much faster, customers are offered flexibility in how they complete their budget – and our agents are freed up to support even more people.
“It is evident Paylink has developed and provided the technology needed for customers and creditors to engage in a quick and seamless way during these unprecedented times where the Covid-19 pandemic has impacted millions of people across the UK.”
Susan Rann, CEO of Paylink Solutions, commented: “It’s brilliant to hear we’ve been shortlisted for these two awards. I’m delighted for everyone in the team who has worked tirelessly over the past year to not only support our clients during the pandemic, but also focus on developing our products so we’re at the forefront delivering top-class digital solutions to the lending and collections markets.”
