We’ve been shortlisted for a major award at this year’s Coventry Building Society Supplier Awards.

We’re delighted to announced that we’ve been named as finalists in the Supplier of the Year category following the success of our purpose-built online affordability tool.

Embark has allowed customers to self-serve and provide their affordability using SFS guidelines while ensuring customers’ repayment plans are affordable and sustainable.

Our Andrew Alder, our Director of Developments and Partnerships, said: “To be shortlisted in the Supplier of the Year award at this prestigious event is a real achievement, especially as we’re up against such a strong group of other finalists.

“As a result of our affordability tool, 79% of mortgage customers who have used Embark have set themselves up in a repayment plan with 25% being referred for free debt advice.

“This figure increases to 89% with assistance from agents, with the time taken to complete the process reducing, offering a quick, easy and seamless approach to finding financial help.”

Russell Woodward, from Coventry Building Society, was also full of praise for our purpose-built affordability tool.

He said: “We’re always working to provide solutions that support our borrowers, and we’ve seen an increasing appetite to interact with us online.”

“The affordability tool enhances the support we can give through digital channels and gives our borrowers more freedom to choose when to interact with us around their work and home commitments.”

The award ceremony will take place on 2nd November at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
